Bring the power of a lightning bolt into your classroom. Here’s an easy yet dramatic way to discharge most Van de Graaf Generators in full view of the largest crowd. It’s also a safe and handy accessory for the popular hair-raising demonstration. By discharging the collector dome first, you won’t “shock” your demonstrator. Wand contains a 10-1/2" dia. aluminum sphere, polished to a mirror finish, mounted on a 15-3/4" (40 cm) insulated plastic rod. The flexible ground lead has a banana plug at one end and an alligator clip on the other for attaching to the base of most Van de Graaf generators. Grades 6-12.
