Learn how to extract DNA from adult and children’ cheek cells and store it on a family DNA ID Card™ to keep. Contents of this kit include materials for 6 DNA extractions. Components: lysis buffer, cotton swabs, NaCl, Methylene Blue Plus™, calibrated transfer pipets, microtipped transfer pipets, test tubes, and Family DNA ID Card. Requires freezer cold 91% or 70% isopropyl alcohol - rubbing alcohol, 10% bleach solution in cup or jar, Styrofoam® or cardboard box, permanent ink marker, and self-sealing plastic bag (not included). Time: 30 minutes.
