During this exercise your students will learn how important the relationship of form and function and the adaptability of fish to their environment is. After receiving general information on classification, ocean environments, and fish, the students will work in pairs and pick a marine habitat to research. Pairs will be able to decorate a fish of their creation with sequins and fins (included) and then must defend the design of their fish in relation to its particular environment. Made for 12 pairs of students. Grades 7-10.
