The magnet in this unique activity kit is a special version of an actual cow magnet, which is used to prevent “Hardware Disease” in cows. This cow magnet disassembles into 16 pieces (including five powerful ceramic ring magnets) for use with activities in the booklet that can be used as a lesson plan. The booklet features “Bessie Bovine” who guides students through 12 exercises that teach them the principles of modern magnetism. Kit includes a cow magnet and a 16-page, illustrated activity booklet. Grade 1 and up.
