Specially designed, “Velcro-ized” sponge balls, called Bolecules™, illustrate a strand of DNA. Use this essential visual aid to “unzip” the original strand and build a second, “daughter”, molecule. Supplemental lesson (included) provides historical information and a replication comprehension check. Set includes: display stand; 12 red, 12 blue, 12 yellow, and 12 green Bolecule™ sponge balls; 12 “C” (cytosine), 12 “G” (guanine), 12 “T” (thymine), and 12 “A” (adenine) letter squares; 60 Velcro™ hooks and 60 Velcro™ loop 3/4" adhesive dots.
