About Reading Rods®:
Reading Rods® are versatile, interlocking manipulatives that are fun to use when teaching and learning to read. The rods are color-coded to define the functions of the letter(s) or words and to differentiate between consonants, vowels, blends, nouns, verbs, etc. Rods only connect from left to right, providing a self-correcting format that builds student confidence.
Benefits & Applications
Hands-on manipulation of rods provides environmental stimulation for active, kinesthetic, and tactile learners.
