Discover the biomes of North America! This kit will allow students to explore the characteristic landscapes, environments, and organisms identified as biomes. This investigation presents information to acquaint students with different geographical locations and biological data within the North American continent. Various topics are discussed, including climate, diversity of plants, and growth within the tundra, taiga, temperate deciduous forest, temperate grassland (prairie), mid-latitude desert, and the mountain. Let the class use the hands-on materials provided to compare each biome.
