Simple Machines Lab Investigation
PRODUCT DETAILS
Investigate the principles behind work and machines. What is work? What are simple machines? How are force, work, and distance related? Your class will answer these and other questions as they apply their critical thinking skills to investigate man’s earliest use of such machines as pulleys, wheel and axle mechanisms, and levers. They’ll also study the specific principles behind these simple machines, as well as the mechanical advantages and efficiencies offered by each. In the process, they will become familiar with the connection between theory and the machines used in our everyday life. Grades 6-12.
