Students can demonstrate univalent and multiple bonds by linking the atoms in this set, represented by colored plastic balls. In addition, they can use the included springs as links to recreate flexible bonds and ring compounds. Includes instructions, ten 2" L springs, and 54 colored plastic balls with holes: 10 black (carbon), two blue (nitrogen, 1-1/4" dia.), 28 yellow (hydrogen), six red (oxygen), four green (chlorine), two orange (bromine), two purple (iodine, 1-1/8" dia.), and thirty 1-1/2" L pegs. Sturdy wooden storage box included. Grade 5 through college.
