Fun art project! Your students will learn how to make gyotaku (that’s Japanese: gyo = “fish” + taku = “impression” and pronounced GEE-OH-TAH-KOO). This is performed by using a realistic fish replica made of rubber, rolling it with paint, and applying it to paper. Set includes freshwater drum, carp, flounder, starfish, bluegill, and skate replicas.
