Use for demonstrating longitudinal and transverse wave motion. Consists of a number of eccentric discs supporting a series of metal rods, joined to a handle. On turning the handle, simulation of waves can be obtained on the rods running in a metal guide. Mounted on a nicely polished wooden base.
