Let the games begin! Nasco’s Olympiad Pack is designed to get you and your members started on science activities that will enhance their learning. Each event is designed to encourage cooperative learning and foster an understanding of scientific method. This kit supplies you with materials suited to demonstrate each event described in the manual: aerodynamics, can race, Cartesian divers, domino event, egg drop crate, regatta, rubber band catapult, suspension bridge, sky’s the limit structures, and slow roller. Teams succeed by trial and error – you’ll see team spirit and healthy competition develop as important scientific principles are learned. Grades 3-8.
