A standard for schools, scouts, and campers, it has easy-to-use features including: a base plate with a contoured back to fit both large or small hands, inch and millimeter scales, protractor plate, 4-second dampening, anti-static, jeweled bearing, Swedish steel needle, cardinal points, rotating capsule/dial, and a lanyard hole. An arrow and a stylized red “N” at 360° on the sure-grip dial make sure you get a “red to North red” needle match. The 2° graduation lines and numerals at the 20° marks have been enlarged for easy reading. A declination correction scale has been added for quick adjustment of map bearings to field headings. Waterproof. 2-1/16" x 3-1/8". Guaranteed accurate for life.
