How to Use A Microscope

This live-action, 20-minute video-based unit of study has been created to provide students with a knowledge of the history of microscopes and the proper handling and use of these valuable tools. Upon completion, students will feel comfortable about using the microscope and preparing slides. They will also have gained an appreciation for the development of different kinds of microscopes, and a knowledge of how those microscopes are used. A downloadable teacher’s guide is available from manufacturer. Microscopes not included. Grades 6-9.
