Students will learn about predator-prey relationships through the analysis of owl pellets. This kit is highly motivational to students for regular class or independent study. Both teacher and student guides are professionally produced and include easy-to-follow directions. Illustrations identify skulls of common prey species and charts are provided for students to record the data collected. Principally, students learn about energy transfer through food chains while observing skeletal features which identify prey animals consumed.
