This kit enables students to identify some common over-the-counter drugs as well as learning test procedures for simulated controlled substances. Test methods will be developed for heavy metal poisoning such as lead and mercury. These procedures will then be used to determine the presence or absence of lead or mercury at the scene of a crime. The analysis of simulated body fluids, such as urine, will also be carried out. Complete for 28 students working in groups of four.
