This multipurpose globe is designed for use in many investigations and demonstrations, including Earth measurements, astronomy, and seismology. Each kit includes an 8" diameter, high-impact plastic globe which snaps apart at equator; internal disc to show cores and mantle; two transparent overlay hemispheres that snap together to form sphere; flexible kilometer scale; two 10 cm rods with suction cups that attach to globe; 8" external protractor; internal protractor; 2" mirror; and a base.
