This unit package contains 10 standardized nutrient solutions formulated for plant nutrition studies using hydroponic solutions for plant culture. The solutions are used to make up the complete plant nutrient mixture, plus the plant nutrient mixtures that are minus one of the following elements: calcium, magnesium, potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulphur, iron, or trace elements. Each solution is furnished in a quantity sufficient to make a minimum of five liters of each of the mixtures. Instructions for use of these solutions and the detailed explanation of various laboratory demonstrations are contained in the Plant Nutrition Studies Manual by Dr. Robert W. Stegner, which is included in the package.
