Here is a compact, efficient hot plate unit at a practical price. It will boil 200 ml water in a 500 ml beaker in 12 minutes. Designed for safe student use with the embedded heating elements enclosed in formed steel and aluminum. Maximum operating temperature of 750° F is thermostatically limited. No open flame, no exposed heating coils, no electrical shock hazards, no storage problem, no chance of spill damage. 3-1/2" high, 4" dia. 750° F maximum temperature, 330 watts, 2.5 amps, 120V, and 50/60 Hz.
