Set A (Basic Drosophila) – Live Drosophila (Fruit Fly) Genetic Set

One culture each of wild type and black vestigial winged. This set can be used to easily demonstrate dominance and simple crosses. Instructions and Drosophila manual included.
Cultures are prepared the day of shipment. Eggs will be laid while in transit. If newly hatched flies are needed, schedule shipment two weeks in advance of preferred use date. If adult flies are dead or not present when your order is received, DO NOT DESTROY THE CULTURES. Living larvae or pupae may be present and should develop to the adult stage in a short time. Optimum culturing temperature is between 69° and 72° F. Please order at least one week in advance of shipment date so we can ensure larvae development in culture.
