Tylosin Injection

A broad-spectrum antibiotic injection containing 200 mg/ml of tylosin base used for treatment of foot rot and bacterial pneumonia, shipping fever, and calf diphtheria in beef and nonlactating dairy cattle. Also for treatment of swine arthritis, pneumonia, erysipelas, and acute swine dysentery. Dosage and administration: For beef cattle and nonlactating dairy cattle inject intramuscularly 8 mg per pound of body weight once daily with treatment continuing 24 hours after symptoms have stopped, not to exceed five days; for swine inject intramuscularly 4 mg per pound of body weight twice daily with treatment continuing for 24 hours after symptoms have stopped, not to exceed three days. Discontinue use for 21 days for cattle and 14 days for swine before slaughter. Not for use in lactating dairy cattle. 200 ml bottle.
