Provides quick knockdown and control of both horn flies and face flies. Combines two different active ingredients, an organophosphate and a synthetic pyrethroid, to minimize resistance development - eliminates the need for ear tag rotation. Active ingredients include: 6.8% Lambdacyhalothrin and 14% Pirimiphos Methyl. Approved for use on beef cattle, nonlactating dairy cattle, and calves of all ages. Unique triangular shape prevents tag from breaking off at neck. Administration and dosage: For optimum control and to minimize development of insect resistance, use two tags per animal (one in each ear). All animals in the herd should be tagged. Apply when flies first appear in spring. Box of 20 tags and buttons (each tag measures 3" x 1-1/2").
How to Avoid Resistance:
• Rotate from organophosphate tags to pyrethroid tags periodically
• Tag both ears
• Tag calves
• Remove tags at end of fly season in fall
