Designed to inflate the lungs of newborns which have a heartbeat, but are unable to breathe. Aspirator mask fits over induction end of resuscitator and suctions any mucus that may be blocking the airway before commencing resuscitation. Takes only 10-15 seconds to suction mucus, making it efficient, timely, and far less fatiguing than other methods. Rescue mask is designed to deliver sufficient air and the face mask and mask grommet fit exactly around the muzzle of the animal, ensuring an effective seal. Plastic cylinders draw air through induction valves at one end and direct it to the animal through a face mask via a bi-directional valve. The bi-directional valve allows the animal free exhalation without the need to remove the unit. Uses air from outside which contains more oxygen than air given by mouth-to-mouth, plus eliminates the health risk to users associated with mouth-to-mouth. Compact and lightweight. Made of tough, high UV-resistant plastics, the resuscitators float, and can withstand temperatures between -40° F to 140° F (-40° C to 60° C). Also includes an oxygen adapter which can attach the resuscitator to an oxygen bottle or anaesthesia machine. Adapter comes with connector and oxygen tube. Masks attach to induction end of resuscitator.
