An absorbable synthetic suture consisting of plaited strands of polymer forming a thread which is encased in a biocompatible coat. Manufactured specifically for the veterinary market. Excellent pliability and secure knotting. Reduced capillary action. Well tolerated by tissues. 50% tensile strength remains after 15-18 days; some tensile strength retained up to 30 days; total absorption of the material in 90 days. 49 ft. of suture material.
