Use for prevention and treatment of hoof problems in cattle and sheep, or use as a shoe/boot bath to prevent contamination from building to building. This foam-filled porous mat with outer sleeve holds more fluid than other mats. For hoof treatment, pour recommended treatment solution (copper sulfate, etc.) onto the mat and place at a traffic point where livestock must pass. Use less chemicals compared to traditional foot baths. This 6 ft. x 3 ft. mat with outer sleeve holds 10 gallons, treating approximately 300 cows before refilling. 1-1/2" mat of strong, durable, woven polypropylene. Do not use continuously, but clean after 2 or 3 milkings, depending on the number of cows and environmental dirt buildup. Generally treatments are repeated once every 1, 2, or 3 weeks, depending on the level of problems. Not for use with chlorine-based disinfection products (foam will break down from exposure to chlorine). Patent pending.
