Since big dogs can comfortably wear a bigger receiver, this model utilizes a “9V” alkaline battery. This battery provides a much wider range of correction, with the highest level being twice that of the Little Dog Trainer (C19767N). The battery life of the high energy “9V” battery is much greater, over five times as long as in other models. The receiver can pick up the signal up to 100 yards, about the maximum distance needed for effective training. Eight levels of correction are easily sent from the transmitter. Strap is 38-1/2" L x 1-1/2" W. Receiver is waterproof. Includes: remote transmitter, receiver with collar, owners manual, and training manual.
