A completely reliable, precise, and practical instrument. Pocket-size, yet offers lifetime accuracy. Accuracy is ±1/2 mph on the low scale and ±3 mph on the high scale. The only delicate part is the moving ball, but this is so well-protected, care need be exercised only if the instrument is disassembled. To use, just hold in hand facing the wind direction. Low scale reads to 10 mph. High scale reads to 65 mph.
