PRODUCT DETAILS
The most challenging media for three-dimensional construction or sculpture! These rigid polystyrene, clear plastic tubes are 3/16" in diameter with a 1/16" center opening to allow stringing with elastic, string, cord, Swistraw, wire, etc. Join tubes with bond or epoxy cements, or weld together with a small flame from an alcohol lamp, small torch, Bunsen burner, or candle. Tubes can be heated until soft, pressed together, and allowed to cool, forming strong joints for sculpture and construction. Cut tubes with a jigsaw, jeweler’s saw, hacksaw, or heat slightly and snap off.
