For sampling ethanol and ethanol-blended fuels, the Nasco Fuel Sampler is efficient and easy to use. It is made up of three 5 ft. (1.53 m) sections of clear PVC that screw together to make a 15 ft. (4.60 m) length. As the sampler is lowered into the fuel tank, the float valve at the bottom opens, allowing the fuel up into the tube. When the bottom of the tank is reached, simply raise the sampler up to close the valve and hold the sample inside, showing a core section of the fuel. To empty, press the tip of the valve against the side of the tank and the contents will flow out. Clean the sampler with mild soapy water using the Nasco Cleaning Brush (B01291WA) or the Nasco Cleaning Rod (B01412WA) and Cloth Strips (B01413WA), all sold separately.
