These interactive videos introduce students to the lives and work of important artists of different genres. Students will learn to recognize artists by their styles, techniques, and subjects. After students are introduced to each artist’s paintings, they are shown other paintings and asked to identify the artist. Impressionism is 25 minutes long and features: Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Mary Cassatt. Post-Impressionism is 27 minutes long and features: Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, and Georges Seurat. Each video includes 24 paintings. Copyright 2000.
