Professional back stapled pre-stretched artist canvas manufactured to the highest quality standards. 8-oz. natural cotton duck canvas has a medium grain surface ideal for all techniques, including heavier applications of color. Staple free edges are 13/16" deep. Display finished paintings with or without a frame. A triple coating of acid-free sizing and highly pigmented gesso provides balanced absorbency and tooth, which prevents sinking of oil colors and improves adhesion. Stretched by hand around professional kiln dried, beveled stretcher bars for the best tension and corner tailoring. Ample canvas on the back for re-stretching. Individually shrink wrapped to keep canvas clean until use. For use with oil (including water mixable), acrylic, and alkyd paints.
