The first kiss, wedding day, graduation, a wonderful vacation, birthday parties, and other personal milestones are depicted in 24 outstanding vintage photographs. For the elderly, especially those with memory loss, these real-life photos serve to awaken their past and to stimulate conversation. On the back of each Precious Moments card is a paragraph about the topic and amusing anecdotes to encourage memories. Finally, questions for discussion are provided to assist the group leader in directing conversation. Kits can be used for scheduled programs, impromptu activities, or even as “fill-ins” between sessions.
