An exciting and economical sculpture medium designed especially for the classroom. Relief sculpture is a technique dating from prehistoric times, requiring a time-consuming and painstaking process. Color Sculpt is a quick, easy, and economical dry mix medium which allows today’s art students to experience relief sculpture themselves. Once Color Sculpt is formed, blocks will remain soft for lengthy projects. Can be carved with almost any instrument – wood carving tools work best because of the variety of chisel points available. Color Sculpt dries to a hard, lightweight form, giving students a sculpture that will last for years. Contains twelve 4-3/4-lb. bags. This allows each student in an average class of 24 to have a 1/2-gal. volume form to carve (e.g., milk carton). Colors include: gray, blue, green, orange, brown, violet, rose, and white.
