Cards focus on five different reading comprehension questions: main idea, drawing conclusions/predicting outcomes, making inferences, using context clues to define vocabulary, and sequence/cause and effect. Each card includes real-life photography and five comprehension questions for each story. Fiction and nonfiction stories are included. Nonfiction stories are based on content areas of math, science, and social studies. Set is leveled according to Guided Reading Levels and progressively increases in reading ability as you work your way through the set. Set is also marked with a leveling system chart.
