Several extraordinary features make this all-aluminum wheel an excellent one for modeling, finishing, and decorating clay objects. The 7" noncorrosive head is marked with concentric circles and rotates smoothly on a ball bearing. For greater momentum, the wheel head is weighted underneath at the rim. Drilled base extensions permit attaching to a table if desired. The wheel shank is grooved to accommodate a small round belt, which makes it possible to mechanize the wheel with a small electric motor. Several Setstone bats, which fit the No. 5 wheel head, make it possible to keep the wheel in continuous use.
